Andria’s is a cozy café tucked away on Great Norwood Street in Cheltenham, offering a quiet spot that feels a little removed from the town’s busier corners. It’s the kind of place where locals might drop in for a relaxed lunch or a casual coffee break, often drawn by the homemade touches evident throughout the menu. The café has a modest, welcoming vibe—another plus for those who prefer quieter spaces over the hustle of more bustling cafés.

The menu leans on hearty, well-crafted sandwiches and toasties, many served alongside a fresh homemade salad—options like the Ploughman’s or spicy chicken with chorizo give it a simple but satisfying British-European leaning. Alongside these savory choices, the cakes and pastries stand out, with items like lemon drizzle cake, carrot cake, and brownies often praised by visitors. The coffee here can be a bit hit-and-miss; some find it strong and warming while others feel it could be improved, especially given the café’s focus on quality food. Among the drinks, a matcha latte and a mango smoothie also add a slightly different twist to the usual café staples.

Visitors often come early to avoid missing out, as popular sandwiches and cakes can sell out before midday. The atmosphere is friendly and down-to-earth, with staff who engage personally and a clientele that includes dog owners appreciating it as a pet-friendly spot—something that adds a homely note to visits. Cash is still sometimes preferred, so it’s worth bringing some along just in case the card machine isn’t cooperating.

For those who prefer a sit-down break away from louder town center cafés, or a calm lunchtime with a substantial sandwich and homemade salad, Andria’s is a spot to lean into. It’s less about quick turnovers and more about a genuine, if slightly imperfect, local experience where food is given attention and the pace feels a little slower. Weekday mornings or early afternoons seem best, before the limited supplies start running low and while the space is still comfortably quiet.

Randomly stumbled upon this place... The food here is incredible and well worth a little wait! Get there early, the food is so good, that it sells out! Also it's always worth taking a bit of cash with you as the card machine doesn't always play ball.

The coffee and cakes (especially the lemon drizzle) were very good, tasty and a good hot cup of coffee. It's expensive at £15 for 2 lattes and 2 slices of cakes. There are no prices displayed, so best ask before you buy. Moran's is cheaper Welcoming and friendly. Cards are welcome now.

Food was fab. But coffee not at all great, if I’m honest. Owner got my gluten free bread on a different order. She had to take my brunch away and change the bread :((. Didn’t give the atmosphere a rating, as no other customers there. Wouldn’t come back here sorry. Please up your coffee game

One of my favourite spots to grab lunch, Andria's offers a quiet corner away from the busy town center. In a world where clone cafes and fast food are more pervasive by the day, Andria's stands out as a shining example that you can't replicate heart, soul, and the homemade touch. I would recommend Andria's to anybody looking for a hearty sandwich, a warm toastie (both come with a homemade salad), or even just a quiet warm drink - all hand-made to order. If you're a tea enthusiast, I'm fairly sure Andria's dedicated tea menu will have a flavour for any occasion! There is a selection of cakes too, if you're after something sweet. The atmosphere in Andria's is very quaint, homely, and has an air of rustic cottage-core to it. It's full of well-kept plants, and the furniture is comfortable and homely. There is a toilet behind the kitchen too, it's a bit hidden but it's there! Overall, I believe there are few places left in Cheltenham that have this level of care put into the experience - and the food is consistently brilliant. I've brought colleagues, friends, and family here - all of whom were greeted to a smile by Andria herself. If you're in the area, deffo give it a go! (Some photos I've taken over the course of a few visits attached below)

his was the cutest little coffee shop in Cheltenham! Delicious latte with alternative milks like oat milk and almond milk. The warm, cozy interior is so charming and inviting, with a sweet little Shih Tzu that hangs out with the gracious and lovely owner, Andria. The vegetarian halloumi focaccia sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the avocado toast hit the spot. We’ll be coming back every day while we’re in town. There are more tempting items on the menu I haven’t even tried yet. Such a gem—an absolute must-visit!

My wife and I had intended to call in here on many occasions after food and drinks at one of our locals, The Suffolk Arms, around the corner and we’re so glad we did. We went for coffee and cake after a Sunday roast and the Italian blend coffee was amazing and the lemon drizzle cake was delicious! The atmosphere is just perfect and we will definitely visit again.
